Pastoral Care of our pupils is at the very heart of all that we do here at Carrick. We treat each and every child as a unique and special individual and do all in our power to bring each one to their fullest potential.
Pastoral Care in this school is an all-embracing one, aimed at the total care of our pupils. It is based on a shared belief in the dignity of each individual and expressed through quality relationships, satisfying learning experiences and the maintenance of an effective care network.
In order to do this, we have many policies in place that help us to be consistent in our care of each child. Below you will find PDF copies of many of these care procedures - please note, the list is not exhausitve, and if you do not find what you are looking for, please ring us here at school and we will endeavour to help out.
If you have any concerns at all about any aspect of our care, please do not hesitate to contact:
Mrs Joy Elliott - Pastoral Care Co-ordinator & Designated Teacher for Child Protection
Mrs Alison Lindsay, Mrs Eleanor Brown or Mrs Lynne Orr - Deputy Designated Teachers for Child Protection
